Pulse: The Series

We were contacted by Desiree Abeyta who has created & produced a series entitled PULSE that incorporates Anime and Martial Arts, with the fight choreography by Vonzell Carter of the Thousand Pounds Action Company.

It’s an action based web series about two girls who are placed in the timeline with opposing missions, only they don’t know it. As the series continues, it goes back and forth between live action and 2D animation “flash backs”.

The official plot is as follows: Two girls, Max and Reyna, wind up mysteriously held captive in a basement. Neither can remember exactly how they got there. Are they just victims of circumstance? Or are they actually key players in a massive conspiracy spanning the globe — and time?

I have to say Pulse is an innovate looking web series and I’m curious to see what happens next.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it’s a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone.
