Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (video review)

Being a huge fan of the Apes films (part one being in my top 10 films of all time) I was very disappointed with the remake by Tim Burton, and I thought the Apes franchise was finished. But my faith was restored by Rise of the Planet of the Apes which was sort of a prequel to the first film. I thought “Rise” was great and couldn’t wait for the next installment. Finally Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has arrived – is it worthy of the series? My thoughts:
