Point Break – Official Trailer

The first footage from the upcoming Point Break reboot that no one asked for, promises heart-pounding thrills and incredible action sequences.

Stepping in for Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves in this remake are The Bourne Ultimatum‘s Édgar Ramírez as the crook Bodhi and GI Joe: Retaliation star Luke Bracey as undercover agent Johnny Utah.

In this new version, Johnny Utah is sent on his most dangerous mission yet, infiltrating Bodhi’s criminal gang as they plan a massive heist. Delroy Lindo plays Johnny’s supervisor, while Teresa Palmer and Ray Winstone also appear.

Gerard Butler was originally attached to play Bodhi in the remake, but was replaced by Ramírez due to scheduling conflicts before production began.

Point Break opens on Christmas Day (December 25) in the North America and January 8, 2016 in the UK.
