Stallone Joins Guardians of the Galaxy 2?

Could this be the Tango & Cash reunion we have been waiting for?

Sylvester Stallone was caught on camera Friday heading to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He is pictured holding a script, likely evidence of a role in the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster.

Stallone, 69, was spotted leaving an Atlanta hotel where the movie’s cast stays, a source told the Daily News. The Creed star then got into a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt, the star of the movie.

Marvel Studios has yet to respond for comment, and no official announcement has been made on whether Stallone is in the movie.

While Stallone’s appearance in the film is unconfirmed, there is a huge role for someone as the father of Peter Quill (Pratt), a mysterious character teased by director James Gunn. New cast addition Kurt Russell had previously been rumored to be playing that role. More likely, however, Stallone’s role would be a cameo, says the source.
