Blood and Bone Prison Fight (2009)

After the sad news of Kimbo Slice passing away last night I thought I would pay tribute by posting this fight scene from Ben Ramsey’s Blood and Bone starring Michael Jai White.

Kimbo brought real menace to the screen and although he was only in the first few minutes of Blood and Bone he really stood out.

Apparently his cause of death was a heart attack; he was only 42 years old.

Bellator president Scott Coker has given a statement saying: “We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating and untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family.

One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport.

Outside of the cage he was a friendly, gentle giant and a devoted family man. His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of Kimbo’s friends, fans, and teammates.”

RIP Kimbo Slice.
