5 Movies Featuring Older People In Love

Movies are always a good way to unwind and to spend some quality time with friends and family. They’re also a great way to spark a connection with somebody met recently. Nowadays, anyone can meet new people and discuss common interest online. There are many sites for meeting people of all ages, such as http://maturedating.online/. But every relationship also needs a spark in order to start. Here are a few beautiful movies to help you to either rekindle a relationship or to passionately start a new one.

  1. Hope Springs

A touching movie which shows that even when the years pass and the spark between two people dies out, it doesn’t mean that a marriage or relationship is a lost cause. The amazing on-screen chemistry between Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones makes the movie one of the best ways to remind yourself why relationships are, first of all, essential and, second of all, need a lot of work at any age.

  1. It’s Complicated

Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin play the roles of Jane and Jake Adler. Once married and happy, now apart and remarried. But as it often happens, fate intervenes and the two discover that all is not lost and their love burns again. The movie follows their experiences as they rediscover their love for one another and try to negotiate the strange situations that come up along the way. Love is one of the best feelings in the world, but it is also complicated, though it doesn’t make it undesirable.

  1. Something’s Gotta Give

If a movie stars Jack Nicholson, then you know it’s a great one. The actor has an amazing performance in the role of Melvin Udall, a homophobic, racist, anti-Semitic obsessive writer who ends up seeing that it’s never too late to feel again, and that affection is something that should never go away. An unlikely situation that grows into a beautiful relationship.

  1. As Good as It Gets

A great story of an aging swinger whose guilty pleasure is being with younger women as he falls in love with someone closer to his age. The movie tells a great story of how love really does conquer all and of how age can be just a number when you’re in love. A story about growing up emotionally and learning to truly love.

  1. Then She Found Me

Then She Found Me tells the story of a middle aged teacher who enters her midlife crisis when hit by a storm of horrible events and how a genuine love story starts between her and a shy but fascinating writer. The movie features many incredibly moving scenes and some of the most beautiful scenes ever filmed.

These are some great movies with some of the best and most emotional performances out there. Whether you’re looking for a movie to watch with your partner, or simply want to rediscover the joy of loving and of moving into a relationship, together, these movies will move you.
